When two functions are contained in the image (such as field intensity and refractive index), the composite image is created by using the following algorithm:
Image = Field^n + overlay_factor*(Image2 - subtract)
where overlay_factor and subtract values are specified by the user. In addition, Image2 can be translated in the X or Y direction to make it appear more distinct for illustration purposes.
