2-D Optical Waveguide Mode Solver

This program can solve for the optical modes of arbitrarily shaped two-dimensional waveguide structures. It uses a non-uniform mesh finite-difference scheme to solve for the optical modes of the system.

The user must specify the refractive index profile and the computational mesh. Various other control parameters have to be supplied as well. All of these parameters can be entered directly on the browser interface.There is no need to install any software.

This is an experimental program and is free for use. I only request that you make fair and appropriate acknowledgements if you use it for research or commercial purposes.
